Pen stand

Hello crafty friends!
Today I have made a pen stand for the desk. Its my second project with mixed media and I love how it turned out.
Let's go through the process.
Firstly I painted the stand with a coat of white gesso. Let it dry.
Then I used the script stencil from icraft and made the script texture with immix texture paste.
Then immidjately I sprinkled the red velvet flock powder from dadarkar arts on the wet texture paste. Let it dry. Repeat this procedure on all the four sides.
Brush out the excess. It will give a sheen to your project and also a velvety touch.
Then I applied the gold wax from cadence with my fingers on all four sides to give it a metallic and shiny look.
After that I used blue gold Colour splash from itsy bitsy. I sprinkled it here and there and dabbed it with the brush on all the four sides.
It looked so beautiful.
Then I placed all the embellishments and played with the flowers and leaves until I got the desired look. This is the most time consuming thing.
Then finally I made some marks here and there using a stamp with black archival ink. This gives a more defined look to your project.
Then I used spray glitter from dadarkar arts all over the surface.
Then I added the deco stones from immix here and there on three sides.

And that's it. It's done!

I love you card

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to my blog.
Take a look at my fifth and final card in this year's  love series.

This is A2 SIZE Card, smaller than the others.
I have used the my love paper pack from dadarkar arts and the vellum sheet which came with the paper pack.
Firstly I cut a pattern paper for the base of my card. Distressed its edges with my distress tool. And pasted it. Then I cut a vellum sheet a bit smaller than the base sheet and layered it with chipboard to give it a depth. Added the golden lace and the eyelet lace in the bottom underneath the vellum sheet.
Then I used the spellbinders die and patted it in the right bottom corner. Added some sparkle on the border and pasted the chipboard sentiment on top of it. Placed some foam hearts.
Added thechipboard lips and the figure on the left side of the card. Added the fussy cut roses underneath the vellum on both the corners. Then placed a twine bow at the top right corner and a chipboard bow.
That's it!

I hope you like them  Let me know which one is your favorite.

That's all for today. Happy valentine's day!
Hugs

Love shaker card

Hello crafty friends!
I am back with my fourth card in this series.Ireally wanted to add a shaker element to one of the cards  so finally came up with this one.
My fourth card looks like this -

This card measures 5*7 inches.
I cut a pattern paper that measures 47/8*67/8 inches. Distressed its edges with the distress tool. Stuck it on the card base.
I made a shaker element in this one with the spellbinders die. Added a rose and leaves on it. And highlighted the cupid the shaker. I thought the cupid will go well with the love theme.then I  fussy cut the couple from the pattern paper. Placed it beside the shaker with the help of foam tape. Finished with a sentiment.

That's it
I hope you guys like my card.

Love card

Hello crafty friends!
I am back with my third love card. Its made from the same paper pack - my love from dadarkar arts. I was intending to do something else but while working on this card, it just came out something else entirely. So I ended up covering the whole base with the balloons. But I am happy with the end result..
My third card looks like this-

I have used one of the pattern as base of the card. Then I put some coconut fibre and simply layered the balloons under the spellbinders diecut. Pasted the girl with the gifts chipboard cut out and some yellow paper twine.
Topped the card with the love chipboard at the left bottom corner.
The card is done.

Love is in the air

Hello crafty friends!
I am back with another valentines day card with the same paper pack-my love from dadarkar arts. My second card looks like this -

I cut the blue pattern paper from the collection for the card base and distressed the edges with the distress tool and stick it to the card.
Then I cut the sentiment' love is in the air' from the pattern paper and made it the fcoal point. I distressed its edges too. To give a three dimensional look I layered it with chipboard and stick it on the blue base.
Then I fussy cut the roses from the pattern paper.
Added the doily die cut on both the edges of the paper.  Added the fussy cut roses on both the sides. Made a bow with the twin Eskdalemuir placed it on the top right corner. Topped the card with cupid chipboard cut out and sequins.
I also enhanced the sentiment with glossy accents and sprinkled some white flower pearls on it to give it an extra something.
Its done!

Valentine's Day cards

Hello crafty friends!
As the valentines is round the corner what's better than to give a card to your valentine or your loved ones. So for the first time I am presenting valentine's day cards which are colourful and so bright.  I loved the paper collection-my love from dadarkar arts and enjoyed playing with it. I made these cards with their  challenge in mind using their paper collection and chipboard sheet. Here's a look at my first card -
I love the purple background. Purple is my favourite colour so I wanted to incorporate it with this beautiful paper pack.
This card makes 5*7 inches.
I fussy cut the rose and eiffel tower from one of the sheets from the paper pack.
I teared the edges of the purple corrugated paper and glued it to the card base.
Then I glue the teared pieces on both the edges of the card base..
Then I sticked the fussy cut elements.
Then I placed the chipboard couple to the left of the eiffel tower and the gift below the eiffel tower. Both of them are from the chipboard sheet and the sentiment too.
Then I added the sequins and flower pearls from dress my craft.
Its done!

I hope you guys like it.
